Julia's Bio
Mrs. Julia A. Ferrell is a native of Cleveland, OH and born out of a lineage of Pastors, Elders and preachers. She is the only daughter of her proud parents Elder Bennie & Sarah Tucker and the granddaughter of the late Pastor Maurice & Ethel Pendleton from Fredericksburg, VA. From a child it was evident that the hand of the Lord was upon her life. Her passion and genuineness became traits that she carried in many areas of her life. Her calling and desire for ministry made a huge impact on the lives of many people.
In 1986 at the age of 8 years old, Julia received salvation and was baptized. She always had a yearning for God and throughout her childhood years she was very active in the church. She attended The Church of God and True Holiness under the leadership of Apostle Albert E. Dixon, Sr. Julia participated in every ministry in the church offered for the young people. It became apparent very quickly that her ability to communicate in front of audiences coupled with her leadership and influence gained her the respect amongst her peers. Julia carried an “old” spirit as she continued to grow.
After hearing the voice of the Lord, Julia decided to move to Atlanta, GA for her educational pursuits. It was her fearless nature that caused Julia to feverishly pursue her goals. Her life rapidly became an array of colorful stories filled with overcoming obstacles and obtaining the unimaginable. It was her faith in God that has caused her to blossom in the church and in the marketplace. She earned herself a reputation in the areas of leadership and administration.
It was through those areas that it became apparent that the diversity of gifts that she walks in could be a benefit in many arenas. She was afforded the opportunity to work with some notable people such as the National Gospel Recording artist B. Chase Williams & ShaBach and Ricky Dillard. She served many pastors in the Atlanta area filling many capacities. She answered the call to ministry in 2002 and was officially licensed as a Minister of the Gospel in 2011 under the leadership of Superintendent Dwight Shields of New Hope Ministries International.
Julia has also spent time in corporate America in which she worked for Philips Healthcare a global leader in the healthcare industry. Philips focused approach on improving people’s lives was in direct correlation with the heart for people that Julia possesses. She spent 10 years with the company in a management role the majority of time. She was considered a Philips success story due to her quick study and matriculation within the organization. Julia was quickly recognized as having strong leadership, communication and relational skills.
In 2013, Mrs. Ferrell was blessed to marry “the preaching machine” himself, Bishop Michael Ferrell. She now spends her time in full time ministry alongside her husband at Breakout Ministries of Cleveland. She is known as a coach and mentor to numerous people helping them to realize their goals and dreams. True to the meaning of her name youthful, Julia remain diligent to pursue all that God has in store. Her ultimate desire is to “Max Out” and leave the world empty having given the world all she carries within.
